Botanically dyed here in Ester using Cochineal and Iron, resulting in a light plum purple.
This 100% Merino super wash DK sport yarn is next-to-skin soft; each skein is 100 grams and 225 yards.
Typical for botanical dyeing, oftentimes skeins will take up the dye differently, even when they were dyed in the same pot, at the same time! Of the two skeins available in the Nemadji Lilac colorway, one is ever so slightly lighter.
Skein #1: medium lilac
Skein #2: medium lilac, a tad lighter than skein #1
Machine wash on gentle, or hand wash in cool water, dry flat.
